# Claude

Claude on the web and Claude Desktop connect to remote MCP servers as custom connectors.

## Add the connector

1. Open **Settings › Connectors** and choose **Add custom connector**.
2. Fill in the two fields and save.

3. Choose **Connect**. Claude opens app.upvera.co: sign in, read the consent page and approve.

## Use it in a chat

Turn Upvera on from the tools menu in the message box, then ask in plain words:

Draft a progress post for Kiln from the last three days of commits.
```

Drafts land in your Hatch. Nothing is published until you publish it in Upvera.

## Disconnect

Remove the connector in Claude's settings, then revoke it in [Settings › Security › AI access](https://app.upvera.co/settings/security/ai-access) on Upvera. Revoking ends its tokens immediately.
