# Claude Code

## Add the server

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http upvera https://mcp.upvera.co/mcp
```

Add `--scope user` to make Upvera available in every project instead of only the current one.

## Sign in

Start Claude Code and run `/mcp`. Pick **upvera** and choose **Authenticate**. Your browser opens app.upvera.co: sign in, read the consent page and approve. Claude Code stores the token and refreshes it for you.

```text
› /mcp
  upvera · needs authentication → opening browser…
  ✓ Authenticated · read:own write:drafts
```

## Try it

```text
› What did I ship on Kiln this week?
› Draft today's Kiln update from my commits
```

Claude reads your build trail with `get_build_trail`, writes the post, and saves it with `create_draft`. Open Upvera, read the draft in Hatch and publish it when it says what you mean.

## Check the connection

```bash
claude mcp list
```

To disconnect, remove the server with `claude mcp remove upvera` and revoke it in [Settings › Security › AI access](https://app.upvera.co/settings/security/ai-access).
