# ChatGPT

ChatGPT connects to custom MCP servers in developer mode.

## Add the connector

1. Open **Settings › Apps & Connectors**. Under **Advanced settings**, turn on **Developer mode**.
2. Choose **Create** and fill in the connector:

```

3. Save. ChatGPT opens app.upvera.co: sign in, read the consent page and approve.

## Use it

Pick the Upvera connector in a new chat, then ask:

Summarize what I shipped on my startups this week.
Draft a progress post for Kiln and save it to Hatch.
```

`create_draft` is the only tool that writes, and it only writes drafts.

## Disconnect

Delete the connector in ChatGPT, then revoke it in [Settings › Security › AI access](https://app.upvera.co/settings/security/ai-access).
