# Value badge

A live badge with a startup's Upvera Value: the U mark, the value, a 30-day sparkline and the 30-day change. It is served as SVG and computed on the server from the same data Upvera shows. The badge never recalculates a number.

## Caching and missing startups

Browsers cache the badge for 5 minutes and the CDN for 10. A slug that isn't on Ranks returns `404` with a dash in place of a number. The badge never shows a made-up value.
